Privacy policy

This privacy policy tells you how Marked Labs B.V. handles personal data when you visit markedlabs.com or send us an email. Our products (such as FlowCue, Blepper and Dendert) have their own privacy policies on their own websites.

Who we are

Marked Labs B.V. is the controller of the personal data that this policy describes.

What this website collects

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It does not have forms or user accounts.

We host the website with Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and to protect the website against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address, the type of browser and the page that you open. We do not use this data to identify you or to make a profile of you. Cloudflare processes this data for us under a data processing agreement. More information is in the privacy policy of Cloudflare.

When you send us an email

When you send an email to us, we receive your email address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message. We use this data only to answer you and to keep a record of our communication. Our email service providers process these emails for us.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest to answer your question (article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or the steps before a contract that you ask for (article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long we keep data

We keep emails for as long as we need them for the communication with you. When an email is part of our business records, Dutch law requires us to keep it for seven years. Cloudflare keeps technical data for a short period only, in line with its own policy.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our service providers can process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, the transfer is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• get access to the personal data that we have about you;
• correct data that is not correct;
• have your data deleted;
• limit or object to the processing of your data;
• receive your data in a format that a machine can read.

To use these rights, send an email to info@markedlabs.com. We answer within one month.

If you do not agree with how we handle your data, you can make a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page and we change the date at the top.
